Shinnazar Seytnazarov

Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science

He earned a PhD degree in Information and Communication Engineering from Yeungnam University in 2018. His thesis work was on QoS-aware A-MPDU aggregation and mathematical models of IEEE 802.11n/ac WLANs. From 2018 to 2019, he worked as an R&D engineer in industy where he built an indoor localization system using wireless signals and machine learning algorithms. He later came back to academia as a Postdoctoral research fellow in Mobile computing and communications lab at Seoul National University. In 2021, he joined Innopolis University as Assistant Professor. Three years later, he started working at Nazarbayev University as Assistant Professor. His research interests include but not limited to wireless network performance optimization, modeling and evaluation, wireless sensing, and indoor localization.

IEEE 802.11 WLANs, frame aggregation, TCP over Wi-Fi, wireless performance modeling, and dense networks.
